I'm sorry to let you all down (mom and sister), but I've been very busy, and probably won't be doing much blogging in the near future. I hope you still love me, and cook for me every once and a while.

I've been a very bad blogger lately. My most sincere apologies go out to all of my readers (my mom)...

Instead of making excuses I'll just tell you I had a pretty good, but short, spring break. It ends Sunday!! I spent the first half doing some serious spring cleaning and relaxing, and the second half in Myrtle Beach. If you haven't ever been, there is a restaurant appropriately named Dick's where you basically pay to be insulted, but it's all in fun! These were the personalized hats they made us... how sweet.

Glee has been so great lately! I know you are probably tired of me always posting videos.... but it's fun and it's Gwyneth Paltrow. So, here:

Ranting is good for me!

I am worn slam out from last week, and lo and behold, this week is going to be worse. Luckily my written exam has been postponed to Monday. Unfortunately I still have three papers to be turned in and two books to be read. My apologies for not being up on things lately, but a girl can only do so much!

I am about to nap, fix dinner, then dive into my homework and not come out until Friday.

Change of Plans

So instead of going to lovely Cancun for Spring Break, Megan (hey, here's a shout-out, girl!!) her crew and I are going once school gets out! What a way to start off summertime!!

AND NOW for Spring Break, I'm going to Dirty Myrtle again! Last year was so much fun, and this year is just going to be even better! I can't wait!

Dear warm weather, hurry up!

I went shopping yesterday... and spent way too much money. I can't help it though! I bought the most beautiful Lilly dress; it will last me forever (I hope)!

I'm obsessed. It will be perfect for Easter, with a white sweater and my white Jacks! I need to win the lottery  if I'm going to keep up these shopping habits!

Cancun is drawing closer! I am getting even more excited about it!

I plan on being tan tan tan when I come back, but from past experiences and hereditary factors it isn't likely.

Wordless Wednesday

Pull out the cheese, I'm whining again.

This week may be the death of me.... Seriously, three exams (one is done as of an hour and a half ago!), all sorts of meetings, and the Krispy Kreme challenge Saturday morning! I'm probably not going to be around much this week, but I'll try and make up for it soon!

I'm out of my Eeyore stage, thank goodness! I woke up today and knew it would be a good day.

I read my Bible some last night; I think that may have something to do with the good mood I'm in today!

Oh bother!

These past two days, I've felt like Eeyore. I've just been really down, and not feeling well either. I don't know if it's the weather or I'm getting sick, but lemme tell ya, something has got to change! I need to just play some happy music, watch The Vampire Diaries, and go to the gym! I feel like that may be the best type of therapy there is!

If you're interested in my therapy technique, you should know, TVD returns to the CW with new episodes this Thursday at eight, there is most likely a gym right down the road, and here is some happy music:

Revelations!... pun intended

The other day I was helping Carol (Caroline) figure out what classes she needs to take in the future in order to graduate on time, I discovered that if I take three more religion classes, then I can minor in it. Now, I already have my four-year plan finished, but if I take 18 hours once or twice I can add it on. I'm pretty sure I can handle 18 hours... I mean, it can't hurt anything right? I'm still debating about it, but the scales are leaning towards going for it!

Oh, life!

I can't believe I'm just now sharing this, but I signed a lease for a place next year. I'm growing up!! I'm really excited about it, though; I'm already picking color schemes, furniture I want, etc. It's going to be so nice to go lay by the pool or hang out on my patio in the warm weather!

Speaking of warm weather, I am craving it like no other! This cold just keeps getting worse! All I want is to be able to lay out on Meredith beach after classes.

I know I've said it before, but I cannot wait to be a big sis! The 2015 Angels have just started their FB group;     freshman year was such a blast, and I can't wait to help someone else have one even better than mine! The longer I'm at Meredith, the more I realize how much I love it.

Spring Break dreamin'

If I get a passport and a plane ticket in time, I may be going to Cancun for spring break; how awesome would that be?

In lieu of this possibility, I am trying to get in shape. Not for anyone but myself though!! I just really want to be able to enjoy myself if I can go!!

Oh, I also want to pick up a job so I can actually buy things. I've applied to WH|BM and the Village Draft House. Hopefully, I 'll hear from one of them soon.

What I'm reading.

In the limbo of exams, Christmas, and starting a new semester I have started two books and finished neither. So far so good, though!

House Rules is about an 18 year old boy with Autism and a love of forensics. So far, so good. I also read Nineteen Minutes, by Jodi Picoult, which was incredible.

This is the other book I've been reading. I keep picking it up with the intention of finishing it, but then I get distracted.  It's really good though! It's about a woman who runs into her old flame after getting married to her best friend's brother.

They are both good, so far; hopefully I can find the inspiration to finish them sometime soon!!

I relish in my lameness.

Sometimes I read through my past blog posts, tweets, and fb statuses and realize how lame I am. All that matters is that I amuse myself, though, right?

Oh, and did you know that the plural of status really is statuses? I had to look it up to be sure; I figured it'd be something crazy, like stati.

It's called the Spring semester, but it doesn't seem like Spring to me!

Classes began again today, whoop-di-do!... NAHHT.

If it were March, I'd be a lot happier, but it's still the most depressing month of the year, January. All I want is to walk outside and see a lot of green things and smell flowers and feel sunshine. Is that so much to ask for?

I'm counting down the days to spring break already!

For the most part, last year was a blast, but this year is going to blow it out of the water!

In other news, there is a J. Crew warehouse sale going on in Chapel Hill; it's basically incredible. I've been twice already. The price of a J. Crew bikini there is a whopping... SIX DOLLARS!! It's going to be hard to stay away.

I just love J. Crew, especially when there is a sale...

Toms on my toes!!

I got a pair of Toms for Christmas: BEST GIFT EVER!

They are seriously the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn, and the Toms program is awesome. For every pair of shoes they sell, a pair is given to a child in need. How cool is that??

Needless to say, it's a little over a week after Christmas and I've probably worn them everyday since then! Hope they don't wear out too quickly!!
